Maroondah Winter Shelter is an initiative of Wesley Mission in Ringwood and sees 6 local churches, now 7, cooperating to host 10 to 12 homeless local men, each church providing a dry, warm place to sleep, an evening meal and break-fast for one night per week during the winter months.

With support from Fr Jose we have agreed to host on Friday evenings. The men have all been vetted by United Wesley in Ringwood and each must sign a contract confirming their agreement to a stringent set of requirements de-signed to ensure the safety of all volunteers and the other guests. The men are brought in by bus after having been assessed each evening at the collection point.

What Alpha is About?

Alpha is an opportunity to explore the BIG questions of life in a friendly, open and informal environment.

All are invited to join in our celebration of the Year of Youth.

Holy Spirit Parish - Saturday 22 September at 5pm start for 6pm mass.

Music for the celebration will be provided by our newly formed youth band.

There are seven sacraments in the Catholic Church. Confirmation is the second sacrament. We receive the power of the Holy Spirit through the anointing of the chrism. We are strengthened to bear witness to Christ in our day today life.

This year we had 64 children from the School, Parish and High Spirits. Monsignor Tony Ireland was the Principal Celebrant.

A heart warming journey with Jesus as He explains the Scripture

Jesus travels with us to explain the Messianic significance of Old Testament Scriptures. The New Testament is hidden in the Old Testament ~ the Old Testament is revealed in the New Testament.

The Wall of Mercy was a special Parish project for the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy 2015 -2016.

Parishioners were invited to complete a plaque to honour someone who stood out in the given parishioner's own life, family & parish community as a 'Face of Mercy' and explain why they were chosen. The plaques were then mounted on the back wall of the Church for about twelve months, making up the parish "Wall of Mercy".
