Covid 19 News and Updates

15 April 2020: Parish House update - Easing of Restrictions

With the easing of some COVID19 restrictions, Fr Arsenio will now be able to celebrate Mass on a very limited basis at 10am on Wednesday mornings in the Holy Spirit Chapel.

The Archdiocese and the Victorian government have set very strict guidelines governing the service. There will only be 10 places available and we will need to register attendance. We will also try to fair-share to provide as many people access as we can. The first mass will be held on Wednesday 20th May 2020 at 10 a.m.

To register interest please ring only on the Parish mobile number 0434 224 483 by 3pm Tuesday.

You will be contacted after 4pm on Tuesday to be advised if you have been successful.

Due to the COVID19 health & sanitation requirements, toilet facilities are not available on the parish property.

Please note: weekend Masses will not be resuming at this stage. The Church, Chapel and parish office will remain closed at all other times until further notice. However please feel free to call or email the parish if you need to.

18 March 2020: Suspension of Public Masses, Confessions and Group Meetings

There are no longer any scheduled masses at Holy Spirit. The Bishops of Victoria have written an update regarding COVID-19. Of note is the immediate suspension of public Masses. This will be a difficult moment, and every encouragement is offered as clergy and parish staff seek to explain sensitively to our people the reasons why Mass will not be offered as a public celebration.

We will continue to make The Word, our parish newsletter, available for you each week on the website.

Similarly confessions and all group meetings are suspended until further notice.
